I’m not going to go into too much detail, but let’s just suffice it to say that everyone whom became involved with my Dad’s trip to portland had an amazing time. We braved the “extreme for portland” conditions as best we could and got in some quality outdoors time but I took every opportunity to mention how much better the next time he comes will be in IN THE SPRING.

We took a hike in the Columbia River Gorge Past Horsetail falls, behind Ponytail falls, across the Oneonta Gorge and up to Triple falls.

We got back to the car just as it began to rain, perfect timing or careful planning?

A quick run down of our itinerary might look something like this: Beer at Lauralwood, Pizza at Last Thursday, Pool at Roadside Attraction, Mcmenamins (various locations; Edgefield, Kennedy School, Blue Moon, ect.), Snowboarding at Skibowl, Holiday Bike Drive at Legacy Emanuel, Claire’s pool tournament, Walks in Forest Park, Long bike ride around the entire eastside of Portland, Movies Movies Movies, Saturday Farmers Market, Portland Saturday Market, Bikecraft at City Hall, Tugboat brewery, OHSU holiday party. I am probably leaving some important things out but to see the pictures click on the my pictures link to the right.

It was good to see you finally Dad and we will all miss you, just remember you can leave STL at 7am and get to PDX by 10:30am by plane and it costs less than driving.
